Outlawz CAS Card Challenge Week 1 June: Feathers

As soon as I saw the theme was feathers I immediately thought of this little box of purple feathers I've had FOREVER! I decided to make a bird out of chipboard buttons, google eyes, flowers and jewels. Bird is the word!

Spring Cleaning my craft room!

Hello everyone! I am finally feeling up to par! Strep throat really takes a toll on me for a long time. I'm not even done with my antibiotics yet! Anywho... I'm missing some absolute necessary supplies for crafting. My paper cutting scissors are missing. My edge distresser is missing. Although I'm not as broken up about that. The scissors I REALLY NEED! They are the only scissors I have for crafting. I don't have a lot of money so I cherish everything I have. Missing my $10 scissors I really can't afford to replace right now is a bad bad bad thing! Trying to use these old as dirt dull scissors I got from my mom just isn't cutting it. No pun intended there lol But it's true! They won't even cut through thin bakers twine! So with that said, I am off to my craft room with my husband and some good music to blast and we're cleaning and reorganizing my craft room! And hopefully find my missing supplies. If I don't find those scissors I don't know what I'm going to do... xoxoxo

CAS Challenge Outlawz: "Winter"

It's winter in parts of the world. For me it's turning from Spring to summer. Anywho... I've been slacking in the blog world. I'm sorry for that. Lots of stuff has been going on. Lots of sickness in my house, including myself. So here's my card for tomorrow, Sunday May 26, 2013... It's most certainly not my best at all because I'm still feeling under the weather, but I think it's cute for feeling terrible when I made it... First though, for the record, I did have a really cute snowman stamp and snowflakes and I can't find them. So I free handed, paper pieced this card together. The sentiment is glitter alpha's that were $1 from AC Moore. The scarf is actually a flower folded in half and cut straight (as opposed to round petals) with some $1 bakers twine from Walmart. The eyes and buttons are $1 black pearls from AC Moore. The carrot nose I drew on with an EK Success orange pen. NOW, here's my card...

CAS: Break the Plane Challenge

For this week, Sunday April 21, 2013 the design team for CAS cards over at the Outlawz decided to go with the theme Break The Plane for the challenge. What that means is we had to design a clean & simple card with something hanging off the edge. So here's my card!
